I recently bought a 50mm f1.8 Canon lens (my first gift to myself after I’ve started working) and it is just spectacular! I absolutely love how it plays with light and love it’s depth of field. I obviously haven’t used it to it’s potential yet, but I am going to try everything possible I can with the lens. It is an absolute beauty!
This Friday, The Republic had a Halloween party that me and a friend of mine arranged, and it turned out to be pretty successful! We combined Halloween and Diwali and made it a desi-Halloween night, so everybody had to have a desi touch to their costumes. We had superman with a lungi, rajnikant, a tapori, a black magic woman, a peacock and a lot more creative costumes! Mine was Velma from Scooby Doo, but I had no clue how to make that desi!
Here’s a picture from the party – lighting up the jack-o-lanterns in the backyard (That’s me in the background). This picture was taken by @riceplatesays, and it’s absolutely wonderful, so I thought I’d share it with ya’ll. I’ve put my watermark on there, because he doesn’t have a watermark yet but I’m pretty sure he will because he just bought a Canon 60D!
So, the Halloween party was successful, everybody had a good time dressing up, eating the yummy barbeque, and bursting crackers. I love parties! Until next time then.
